I needed to repartition the drive to be entirely XFS partition with / as the mount point as CSF mode does not use UEFI. In this mode the StarTech RAID board does show its screen during system POST.

Install completes, BIOS does not boot off the drive, instead insists on going into the motherboard BIOS screen. Ubuntu 20.04 does not seem to recognize the 2.5G chip, so I must attach to our WiFi network for now.
The board I received has the Realtek 2.5G and Intel WiFi. an Intel Pro1000, along with a Realtek 2.5G. The recommendation stated that this motherboard had dual Ethernet controllers on it. I saw advised to use the MSI Z490 motherboard for Ubuntu Linux. and we must physically remove the board to read the code off the sticker?!
Perhaps is it on the bottom side of the board. The registration page refuses to register the board without the code. First off, I am unable to spot on the top of the motherboard the sticker with the CHK code on it.
